| The Association "Les Amis du Musée Gay-Lussac" (Friends of Gay-Lussac Museum) is happy to present this site dedicated to our great Scientist's Museum.
During year 2000 we commemorated the 150th anniversary of the scientist's death, and many manifestations were organized for this celebration. The image at left is the cover of the report of these manifestations and the Acts of the conference "Gay-Lussac, vie citoyenne et œuvre scientifique" (Gay-Lussac, his life as a citizen, and his scientific works). This "collage and ink" showing "Le ballon de Gay-Lussac"(Gay-Lussac's balloon) had been made by the children of Royères' Nursery School, winners of a contest. This virtual Museum's visit may be made along a thematic thread, or at random starting from the Museum plan or with the help of a set of buttons. |
